Posted: 17th March 2025
We’re pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for two HSJ Digital Awards, which celebrate pioneering digital solutions that are shaping the future of healthcare across the UK.
This year marks a milestone for the HSJ Digital Awards, with a record-breaking 432 entries submitted. Of which, 205 projects have been shortlisted, each demonstrating remarkable ingenuity, passion, and transformative impact in digital health.
Health Innovation Yorkshire & Humber has been shortlisted for two categories:
Driving Prevention and Early Intervention through Digital category alongside Leeds Health & Care Partnership for the implementation of the Luscii remote monitoring project.
The project was piloted in primary care across Leeds and empowered patients with multiple long-term conditions to manage their health using digital technology. Patients gained real-time insights into their conditions, while staff optimised care delivery, reducing appointments and unplanned hospital admissions by 47% and 80%.
Digital Literacy, Education and Upskilling Award for the West Yorkshire Digital Ambassadors Programme.
The Digital Ambassador Programme (DAP) is a nine-week programme designed to strengthen the digital innovation, transformation, and improvement skills of the workforce providing a blend of real-world expertise with theoretical knowledge. It builds confidence identifying where transformation and innovation could have the largest impact and covers a wide variety of topics such as: digital inclusivity, co-design, innovation to drive down health inequalities and regulatory requirements for digital technology. It aligns with the current needs and priorities outlined in the NHS Five Year Plan and the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan.
The HSJ Digital Awards shine a light on teams and organisations driving meaningful change through technology, improving patient outcomes, streamlining processes, and enhancing the overall quality of care.
The winners will be revealed at the HSJ Digital Awards ceremony on 26 June 2025, a night dedicated to celebrating the brightest minds and most impactful projects in digital health.
